What problem are you having with the AIO Smart Sleeve?
Because we tried to make the AIO Device as small as possible, the charging port is very small. You simply have to find the right placement of the charger onto the device and make sure it’s in a place where it won’t be moved. The device is charging once you see lights appear on both sides. One light will turn green once fully charged. Depending on the surface, you might need to place something with slight weight on top of the device to make sure the charger is connected.
If you don’t see a charge at all, consider the power source. If you’re charging from a laptop, that’s not very effective. Try different wall outlets. Unplug and plug back in to source.
Some smartphones have different Bluetooth protocols and will have worse Bluetooth quality. We have tested the main phone brands (iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei) and the Bluetooth works fine with those. Other smartphones will still work but might be more sensitive to distance and movement. Note that the main disruptor of Bluetooth is your body. If the device is on the inside of your wrist, and your smartphone is on the opposite side, your body will interfere with the Bluetooth connection. When in active mode, place the AIO Device on the outside of the forearm/wrist for better results.
When in doubt, try restarting the device. Once off the charger, press and hold the button that is on the same side as the flashing light. If that doesn’t work, put the device on the charger and do the same thing. You will see the light go off and come back on. That should do the trick.
Please email us at sales@komodotec.com and we will help you with the sizing. You will have to pay for a new sleeve if you ordered the wrong size. Sleeves cannot be returned once opened for sanitary and safety reasons so it’s best to ask questions before purchase to make sure you get the appropriate size.
If there are any cosmetic issues from manufacturing error, please let us know and we will replace your sleeve. This includes rips, tears, incorrect electrode and clip placement and potentially other fabric damage.
Please try restarting the device. If that doesn’t work, charge the device fully (until the light turns green) and restart the device again once you take it off the charger.
This could be an issue of attaching the device to the Smart Sleeve. You nee to make sure that the top right electrode coincides with the trace on the inside of the Sleeve. The trace is quite visible, you will know when you see it.
Please try restarting the device. If that doesn’t work, charge the device fully (until the light turns green) and restart the device again once you take it off the charger.
Try restarting the device. Take the device off the charger, hold down the button that’s on the same side as the flashing light. Hold it down until that light goes on, it will come back on momentarily. Then, plug the device back into the charge and let it charge over night. Once fully charged, the light on the other side of the device will turn green.
KOMODO uses RMSSD to calculate HRV in real-time. Unlike other devices that use milliseconds (ms) or scores out of 100, the AIO Smart Sleeve uses a score out of 5 stars. 5 stars is a high (very good) HRV and 0-1 is low. As a frame of reference, the AIO HRV scores correlation to the 100 scale goes as follows:
1 – 20
2 – 40
3 – 60
4 – 80
5 – 100
If you have the long version of the AIO Smart Sleeve, the problem could be a connection issue with the sleeve and NOT the device. This is why we recommend carefully rolling on the sleeve with minimal stretching because otherwise the electronic integrity could be damaged. So to test if the device is working, please refer to this video at 1:29 minutes in and follow the procedure.
All Sleeves that leave our factory are tested for fit. The material is quite stretchy, so the best way to fix this issue if first, place one clip on. Then, stretch the material until the second clip falls into place.
It’s okay if the Bluetooth disconnects during sleep. All of you sleep data is being saved on the device until you reconnect when you wake up. Simply enter the home screen, connect to Bluetooth, as you normally would, then go into the Sleep Mode and press STOP. Your data will take a few moments to load and then you will see it on your screen. Watch video tutorial on troubleshooting sleep mode HERE
