As fabric and textile aficionados ourselves, we’re always on the lookout for the best yoga clothing brands and companies. We’re looking at fabric make, weight, technology, combination and more.
This list features the top yoga brands we’ve found in our research. Note: some of these aren’t necessarily sustainable or eco-friendly yoga brands. If that’s what you’re looking for, we have a separate article on that here.
Let’s get to the list.
Buddha Pants
HOW did I not discover these sooner?” These aren’t your typical yoga pants. Think super-flowy, ultra-comfy harem pants that—wait for it—fold into their own pocket! Yep, you can literally pack them into themselves, making them perfect for travel or just tossing in your bag for later.
These guys are manufactured in Miami and Ho Chi Minh – in a tinny factory that only makes Buddha Pants. The designs are vibrant and fun. It’s what you picture when someone says “original yoga wear.”
Teeki Tights
Their brand just screams “FUN”. These folks are doing something seriously cool—turning recycled plastic bottles into some of the most comfortable yoga tights you’ll ever wear. Pretty awesome!
It’s eco-friendly fashion at its finest. Their tights have this four-way stretch that moves with you, whether you’re nailing that tricky crow pose or… lounging on the couch (no judgment here). The designs are wild—inspired by nature, the cosmos, and all things mystical. Wearing Teeki is like making a statement without saying a word.
Lululemon Yoga Clothing
I guess we can’t really make a list without these guys, huh? Though there are some amazing, and better, alternatives to Lululemon, they remain the leader in this space. Constantly improving. Constantly evolving to different types of clothing.
That’s one thing I do admire about Lulu. They don’t rest. Every month, it seems, they have new yoga clothing that we haven’t seen before. Though pricey, they remain one of the best yoga clothing brands today.
Many people love the brand because they claim to be a sustainable clothing brand. But is Lululemon ECO friendly? There certainly is evidence to the contrary. It’s a bit of a shady past but they are still pumping out yoga wear to millions of men and women around the globe!
GymShark
I like to call these “Lulu light.” Perhaps because of the lighter price tag and quality. GymShark has been blowing up in 2024 and in the years prior. Open any social media app, and they’ll probably be there.
As fabric experts ourselves, the quality is not the greatest. If you’re looking for the best alternative to GymShark, we got you covered.
Alala Yoga Pants
Alala…more like “oo la la.” Think luxury meets performance—yeah, that’s Alala in a nutshell.
Their yoga pants are the kind you’d want to wear all day, every day. Super sleek designs, high-quality fabrics, and a fit that makes you feel like a million bucks. And the best part? They don’t just look good; they perform.
It’s a perfect brand that is right on the money with the whole “athleisure” boom. Wear it in the gym and at the airport. Looks and feels good in both situations.
Alo Yoga Wear
Founded in California by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge, Alo has branded itself the cooler version of Lululemon. They rose to fame when celebrities like Justin Bieber and Kylie Jenner were seen sporting the brand yoga wear.
In terms of fabric, there are mixed reviews. In terms of fabric quality, it’s actually pretty good. The leggings are made with heavier fabric than Lululemon, which means it will do a better job shaping as well as last longer. But at the end of the day, some fabric experts are saying the leggings are definitely NOT worth the price.
Free People Yoga Wear
If boho-chic is your jam, then say no more. Free People’s yoga wear is like a festival for your closet—flowy fabrics, earthy tones, and that effortless “I woke up like this” style.
They have some really neat looking leggings with different fabric combinations. Most leggings feature a polyamide fabric blend, which is basically a fancy term for nylon fabric.
ODODOS Leggings
Now, let’s talk ODODOS. If you’re on the hunt for leggings that won’t break the bank but still deliver on quality, THIS IS IT! ODODOS is like that hidden gem you stumble upon and can’t believe you didn’t know about sooner. Their leggings are comfy, stretchy, and come in a gazillion colors and styles.
High waist, pockets, capris—they’ve got it all. Perfect for yoga, but also for running errands or, let’s be real, Netflix marathons on the couch. The fabric is moisture-wicking and breathable, so you stay cool even when your workout heats up. Affordable and functional? No more crazy Lulu prices.
Onzie Sportswear
Ever wanted to bottle up that carefree, sun-soaked vibe of Venice Beach? Well, Onzie pretty much did that and turned it into activewear. Founded by a yogi who’s been bending and stretching since, like, forever, they get what it means to move—freely and confidently.
Good quality wear. Fun and unique patterns. Also, pretty affordable. Onzie is made with eco-friendly fabric that can sustain difference environments like chlorine and saltwater. Most of their leggings are a poly, spandex blend so their stretchy, yet durable.
Wiskii
Tennis? Beach? Yoga? Horseback ridinng? Wiskii has yoga clothing for it all! They have quite the catalogue or beautiful tops, bottoms and sets. They are quite fashion forward, but without necessarily the price. Their mission is truly to become one of the best yoga clothing brands of our time.
Yeoreo
Okay, let’s get real about Yeoreo. Funny name, serious comfort. If you’re on the hunt for leggings that won’t empty your wallet but still make you feel amazing, this is it.
Yeoreo offers high-waisted leggings that hug you in all the right places. Super soft, stretchy, and perfect for everything from yoga to couch marathons (we’ve all been there).
And the variety? So many colors and styles, you’ll want one for every day of the week. Affordable, stylish, and oh-so-comfy. Say goodbye to overpriced leggings and hello to Yeoreo.
Eddie Bauer yoga pants
We all know Eddi Bauer to be the go-to clothing for finance bros. But they actually have some great athletic and yoga attire. For both, men and women. The leggings are made with a nylon-spandex blend that ensures comfort and durability. They have all types of clothing from leggings to tops and everything in between.
